"You know you've been at law school too long when..."

...a 700-page book ("An Unfinished Life," by Robert Dallek -- about JFK -- in case you're curious) seems like easy reading.

...you start saying things like, "while the language bears that out, there's a social utility argument..."

...you're trying to put together a study group to help you figure out the best strategy for getting a seat on the subway in the early morning commute.

Which reminds me...

Three ways to get a seat on even the most crowded NY subway car:

1. Sneeze on the person sitting where you want to sit.
2. Use a walker.
3. Borrow someone's baby and bring her along.
