Slate has a somewhat odd article about Rehnquist's addiction to painkillers in the 70s and early 80s. I'm not nearly enough of a Supreme Court junkie to have any idea if this stuff is common knowledge or not, and I'm not entirely sure it's in good taste given his death wasn't very long ago, but it's an interesting piece regardless.
